Garlic 2020 planting plan

I have decided to try plastic mulch this year. So I invested in a plastic mulch layer which seems to be a really nice piece of equipment. My plan was to plant half my crop with the mulch layer but once I got started with this operation I could not stop. It really does a good job once you get the layer adjusted correctly. Some things that I will see if I like will be the drip tape and white or black plastic. The drip tape with the spacing of the bulbs was a challenge. To make this work I made a dibbler that would attach to the mulch layer so that the dibbler would not run over the drip tape if was done in a later operation. So now the plastic mulch layer will produce a raised bed , lay the plastic ,drip tape and punch holes in the plastic in one operation.I have planted 8000 cloves this year so I will know in July how I like this different process.
